Thought I'd share my entry for PenSole this year.

-A speed pole climbing shoe purpose build for the World Lumberjack Championships. It features a dynamic climbing spike which articulates allowing the climber to use their whole leg as opposed to the traditional, fixed climbing spikes used by current competitors.

LTU sketch battle:

We were to draw a cartoon lawn mower as a slight deviation from the usual car battle.

     I call it Chomp Cadet.

This is a little project I completed over winter break.

      Build info:

48 inch. pine (would turn out to be a bad idea, don't use soft wood)

             Rosewood brush finish 2 coats
Red Sharpie to boost graphic colors
Silver, and black sharpie for highlights and contrast
Wood burning was used to create the graphics
             Gullwing Sidewinder II trucks

It's not finished but I thought I'd do an installment on a toy truck speaker box I'm doing.

Started with a cardboard template with dimensions based on proper air volume for the
       speakers.

I began construction of the mock up.

Here it is on the trailer.

Mocking up speaker and component locations.

After giving it a good listen I decided I needed more BASS.

       Here's the wooden box.

Speakers mounted and waiting for decoration and special effects. I'm thinking a desert paint scheme.

Experimenting with hi-liter and Sharpie sketches

Giant non-existent slant six hot rod

This is where it started. I was sketching on a friends concept and I only had hi-liters and a red marker.
